Job Description: Adjunct/Part-time Instructor teaching Culinary Arts.

Qualifications: Associate degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the food service industry, excellent knife skills, practical communication skills, and an excellent knowledge of the culinary arts is required. Current ServSafe Certification.

Essential Duties: To teach assigned online, day, and/or evening classes; maintain accurate attendance; maintain accurate academic records, such as syllabi and grades; submit required forms and documents on time. Maintain consistent communication with students and supervisors. Responsible for lecturing and supervising in a commercial kitchen and responsible for comprehensive course instruction within the culinary field.

Education and Experience: Associate degree in Culinary Arts or closely related field. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the food service industry.
