Job Description: Adjunct/Part-time Instructor teaching the transition English course. Teaching the self-paced transition English course, the instructor will help students develop strong foundational reading and writing skills, preparing them for success in their college-level gateway English courses.

Qualifications: Candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree in English, English Education, or related field.

Essential Duties: To teach assigned online, day, and/or evening classes; maintain and submit accurate attendance; maintain accurate academic records, such as syllabi and grades; submit required forms and documents in a timely manner. Maintain consistent communication with students and supervisor.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, or related field is required. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in teaching basic reading and writing skills is preferred. Experience with online instruction is preferred. Experience with Moodle and NROC is also preferred.
