Wilson Community College is full-steam ahead with Spring registration, and we have options that might be right up your alley. If you want to upgrade your skills, earn a degree, or just want to learn something new – WCC has something for you at an affordable cost and with convenient scheduling options.
Maybe you didn’t have an opportunity to start college, and now you’re ready to start. Or maybe you’re already in college, and you’re hoping to get ahead in your educational goals. You may work full-time but want to go back to school and earn a degree or learn a new skill that will increase your income. In any event, we are here to help you get started. You don’t have to wait.
For those seeking to earn a degree or diploma, we offer 8-week long mini-semesters that give you the same number of credits as a full 16-week semester. These 8-week sessions are a great option for students wanting to complete a degree or certification quickly. It’s also a way to complete prerequisite courses in the spring to be ready to take higher-level courses next summer or in the fall. And, of course, you can enroll in the College’s traditional 16-week classes too.
Ready to get started? Spring semester begins January 6, and it will be here before you know it. Our admissions counselors are ready to help you get started and answer any questions you might have about our programs and classes. Have a question about paying for college? Financial Aid is available to eligible students, and our staff is here to help answer any questions you have about financial aid. And we offer convenient online payment options.
Since the admissions and financial aid processes take time, it’s a good idea to contact us now to ensure that everything is complete and in place by January 6. Registering early is also the best way to get into classes that are in high demand.
And if you’re not necessarily looking to earn a degree, but are more interested in short-term workforce training or learning a new skill set, or shifting careers completely, we have plenty of Continuing Education courses – both online and face-to-face, to meet your needs. Some examples are Nurse Aide I and II, phlebotomy, law enforcement and fire training, cosmetology, and more. And there’s funding available to help cover registration fees for these classes as well.
Regardless of your motivations, it’s never too late — or too early — to get started. You always have a starting point at Wilson Community College.
