Wilson Community College is excited to announce that we now have a mascot!
Thanks to the hard work and great input from the College’s ad hoc Mascot Selection Committee, comprised of faculty, staff, and students, and so many others in our WCC family, we are thrilled to finally introduce you to the Wilson Community College Wolves!
Yes, wolves can be fierce and scary, but they also represent loyalty, teamwork, and protection. Wolves trust their instincts, much like we do. So, what if your instinct is telling you to do something more? Change careers? Go back to school? If so, WCC has you covered. Come join our pack!
We’re so excited about the great opportunity to include the Wolves in our marketing, and in the near future, as a presence at community events. And who knows, with a mascot now in place, athletics may be coming soon!
We are also gearing up for an exciting fall semester. In fact, early registration is open right now. This year, WCC is holding a special registration event: Registration Remix. This event is open to everyone and you’re invited to join us on campus on July 14, anytime between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 pm. We’ll have food, games, inflatables, music, and more, so bring your family! Wherever you’re starting in the registration process, we can help you. You can register for classes, meet with your advisor, and take a campus tour. Financial aid staff will also be available to assist you and answer questions about completing your FAFSA. And you can even pick up some free swag that will be the first to feature our new mascot!
