English and Math Tutoring

Are you currently enrolled in an English or math class and need additional support?

The English & Math Enrichment Center (EMEC) is available to offer one-on-one virtual and in-person tutoring services to all students currently enrolled in the following classes:

Schedule a Tutoring SessionEnglish:

  • ENG 002 – Transition English
  • ENG 101 – Applied Communications I
  • ENG 111 – Writing and Inquiry
  • ENG 112 – Writing/Research in the Disciplines
  • ENG 114 – Professional Research & Reporting

Math:

  • MAT 003 – Transition Math
  • MAT 110 – Math Measurement & Literacy
  • MAT 121 – Algebra/Trigonometry I
  • MAT 143 – Quantitative Literacy
  • MAT 152 – Statistical Methods I
  • MAT 171 – Precalculus Algebra
  • MAT 172 – Precalculus Trigonometry

Step 1:

  • Click the “Schedule a Tutoring Session” button on this page. You will be redirected to a page showing the available services.

Step 2:

  1. Select your desired service.
  2. Select the date and time that works best for you.
  3. Complete the “Provide Additional Information”
  4. Select “Book”
  5. You will receive a confirmation email about your booking

What if I need to cancel or move an appointment?
If you need to reschedule, cancel, or move your appointment, go back to your booking and select the appropriate button to make the adjustments.

Reminder: Appointments must be canceled within  24 hours.  After two no-show appointments, students may not be able to book another appointment with EMEC for the remainder of the semester.

Weather Update

Due to the threat of inclement weather, WCC will be closed on Friday, February 21. Instruction will shift to remote learning and staff members will respond to inquiries by phone and email. Weekend classes will run as scheduled.
